New Church Construction — March 2007

First week of March — The outer edge of the foundation has been poured and the interior slab is now ready to be poured. Before that happened, on March 4, 2007 Fr. Vicente conducted a blessing of the foundation, spreading of sacred soils collected from around the world by parishioners, and sprinkling of water from the Jordan River. A short story about the blessing and a photo similar to below made the front page of the Wet Mountain Tribune for the week of March 8-14, 2007.

Third week in March—main foundation was poured and cured, followed by the construction of the first walls. These will be lifted into position by a crane during the last week of March.
